Care Act Advocate
My role:
I help and support people who sometimes may not be able to communicate their wishes, feelings or able to challenge decisions made by services.
I understand peoples rights under the ‘Care Act’. and can be fully involved in the local authorities’ assessments, Care Reviews, Care Planning or safeguard enquires.
My item:
I carry this medal with me at all times, as Saint Christopher is known as the patron saint of all travellers and a symbol of safe travel and protection. Having this makes me feel secure and safe.
