Sarah Marsh

Personal Assistant Recruiter & SEND Youth Co-ordinator

My role:

My main role is to support people living in our community to recruit personal assistants by working closely with both employers and PAs through the employment process. PAs can make a huge difference to the lives of people living in our community.

I also coordinate our SEND Youth Champion project which involves high school students supporting young people with SEND, we have a number of schools in the borough involved and I am excited to see positive change in the support of young people in Wigan.

My item:

The item that I have brought is a quote from one of my favourite books, Alice in Wonderland. I have read the story to my children many times, it’s important to me that they grow up believing that it is good to be curious and look for adventure everywhere, though I do hope they don’t start chasing white rabbits! I love this quote as it reminds me that we should always be ourselves, and that it’s perfectly fine to be a bit bonkers!
