Busy Bees is a Arts, Sewing and Craft Group based in Wigan
Busy Bees is a weekly community group in the Wigan area that provides art workshops and a safe space for people to go to and meet other creative people. We do a
variety of different arts and crafts weekly which is user lead.
Our group is currently running online on a video call platform with the hopes of retuning post Covid restrictions to our community shop where we make our crafts and sell
our home-made work.
Our group welcomes all people in the community and works to support people who are isolated, struggling with low mood and have disabilities.
We have a limited budget available for supplies for the group but also rely on donations of materials and through selling our art.
For the group to work towards it being self-sufficient we need the support of volunteers. We are looking for a volunteer who is creative, organised for planning classes, experience working with/supporting others, who is comfortable using digital media and
being on video calls, can travel independently and order supplies if needed.
