A new platform for fundraising with Embrace
Embrace have a new donations and fundraising platform for May 2019. We have sadly parted ways with myDonate which is closing its doors in June, any payments done through this will also end at this time.
We have however found a new not for profit organisation called Wonderful who offer a free service for BOTH funders and charities that give 100% of the money raised back to us.
This is a huge deal as the money you fundraise or work for goes solely back to our charity and towards helping people in our community!
A lot of donation platforms available for charities work on a cost model for charities (e.g. JustGiving) and even though they are popular we ask that funders sign up to Wonderful because of their ethos:
We recognise the selfless commitment made by fundraisers who train for months to run marathons, face their fears by jumping out of aeroplanes or open their homes to the community for charity bakes and coffee mornings. We believe the charities they support should receive EVERY PENNY from their fundraising efforts.
