Louise Hartley
EHC Fieldworker
My role:
As early years key worker I work specifically with children aged 0-5 years with additional needs and their families. I offer a person centred approach which means that the support provided meets the individual/families needs. The role is wide ranging and can include attending appointments, signposting, viewing potential nurseries and schools (mainstream and specialist) to completing referrals and applications.
My item:
I once read on a tear off calendar “Ink survives the worst memory” and it stuck. I like to think I have a good memory but this makes sure. I’m all for technology but pen and paper will still be here when your battery’s died!
