My role:

Hello, my name is Kieron and I came to Embrace through a supported internship which involved me working for 4 days a week and I would attend college one day a week, which was a Friday, to complete my Maths and English subjects. I also undertook a BTEC level 2 in planning and participating in work experience. However, I have now finished college and this means I am able to come into Embrace on a more frequent basis.

During my time with Embrace I have already achieved so much and I feel a valued and respected member of our wonderful team. Some of the things I have done with Embrace have helped me outside of work as well. For example, I have been involved in activity sessions supporting young people with additional needs. I have also presented at our AGM meeting, which I felt both honoured and privileged to do as I had only been with Embrace for a few weeks at that point in time. I now feel really comfortable where I am and have become more confident as a person.

My item:

The item that I have chosen to represent me is an item very important to me: it is my Wigan Warriors season ticket. I feel this item best represents me because I am a very passionate rugby fan and I would like to go into sports in some capacity in the future.
