The Home of Never Watch Alone |
||||||
Are you over 18 and fanatical about sport, do you love the Latics or the Warriors, are you a people person? Then you are just who we are looking for! This initiative was launched to bring the local community together through football and rugby league. The Never Watch Alone Initiative will enable supporters with a learning disability to attend matches alongside their fellow supporters. Buddy up – as a friend not a carer – and live out your passion watching the Latics or the Warriors at the DW Stadium with someone who shares the excitement of the match as well as the camaraderie and socialising before and after the game!!! You don’t need experience, just a genuine passion for your sport. If you are interested or would like to know more please contact Michelle on 01942 513053 or email m.ryan@embracewiganandleigh.org.uk The The Never Watch Alone Initiative will be launched alongside the National Association of Disabled Supporters’ disability awareness “Level Playing Field Campaign” |
